Vineet is a President and Head of our Semiconductor Practice, leading full-stack transformations across the global semiconductor and industrial ecosystem. At Ayna, he drives strategic, commercial, and engineering-led value creation—spanning pricing discipline, margin excellence, fab productivity, capital optimization, and supply-chain resilience.
He brings his semiconductor and operational expertise to life through CEO conversations on our Titanium Economy Podcast. Vineet has led conversations with CEOs and investors across the fabrication, testing, AI/ IoT, and venture capital landscape, drawing out insights on how strategy, capital, policy, and execution discipline converge in industrial-tech value creation. Recent dialogues include Mike Slessor (FormFactor) on the next decade of semiconductor testing and margin compounding through SKU discipline; Dong-Su Kim (LG Tech Ventures) on strategic AI + semiconductor investing and partnership models that accelerate innovation velocity; and Ross Sabolcik (Silicon Labs) on portfolio evolution from analog roots to IoT leadership and the operational resets required to scale design-win engines.
Before Ayna, Vineet was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he co-led the firm’s Accelerated Performance Transformation (APT) service line and shaped its thinking on margin excellence. Earlier engineering roles at Applied Materials, Hitachi GST, and Seagate Technology grounded his conviction that engineering-led execution compounds over decades when paired with operational discipline. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras, a PhD from UC Berkeley, and an MBA from Chicago Booth, bringing together technical depth, commercial orientation, and high-trust CEO engagement to lead Ayna’s narrative and transformation impact across India and the Middle East, while supporting client engagements in North America and Europe where relevant.
