Derek joins Ayna after working as an Investment Analyst at Partners Capital, where he supported endowments and family offices through portfolio analytics, investment research, financial modeling, and client reporting across public and private markets.

Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Analysis and Research from Brown University in 2025, combining sociological theory with statistics and data-driven research to examine complex organizational questions. At Brown, he participated in activities spanning investment research, labor-market analysis, and community leadership. Through this he developed skills he applied to finance, research, and client-facing roles. He also competed on the varsity track and field team.

Outside of work, Derek enjoys following the markets, staying active through biking and lifting, and learning about French language and culture.
