He has led multiple high impact transformations across Ayna’s portfolio and client base. In a building products business, he helped deliver 30.2 percent EBITDA growth driven by a 16.9 percent increase in throughput, a 13 percent improvement in labor efficiency, and a 7 percent reduction in freight cost per unit. At Avail Infrastructure Solutions, Mohit played a key role in driving 1.6 times revenue growth between 2021 and 2025 along with a 600bps+ margin improvement that led to the strategic sale of the company’s largest business unit at 3x initial enterprise value.
Mohit is known for his ability to connect executive level strategy with frontline operational execution. Through Ayna’s Operations Excellence approach, he works with leadership teams to design and implement transformation programs that align operating model redesign, digital enablement, and performance management systems. His work consistently drives margin expansion, cash flow improvement, and sustainable performance gains.
His work often supports companies navigating major inflection points, including footprint and capacity rationalization, portfolio optimization, operating model modernization, and the rollout of performance management disciplines such as SIOP. Mohit also builds transformation playbooks that help management teams sustain results well beyond the initial implementation period.
Before joining Ayna, Mohit was an Associate Partner in the Operations Practice at McKinsey, where he led enterprise-wide transformation programs across North America, Europe, and Asia, primarily in the industrial sector. He began his career in operational roles within the energy industry, leading frontline teams in complex, asset intensive environments.
Mohit holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from IIT Guwahati.
